Rugby Union Six Nations Betting - A French Grand Slam Looks Favourite

France look certainties to win the 2010 Six Nations Grand Slam after completing a comfortable victory over Italy after earlier wins over Scotland, Ireland and Wales. They now must play England at the Stade Francais on 20 March in what promises to be a vital game for both teams.

Les Bleux are now 1/5 odds on to win the Grand Slam, while Ireland, who won the Grand Slam last year are 4/11 odds on favourites to win the Triple Crown. Before the Irish can celebrate that feat however, they must beat 'Wooden Spoon' candidates, Scotland at Croke Park.  Wales will look to put a dismal Six Nations behind them with a win against Italy in their final game next week in Cardiff.

England are the only team who can stop the French from taking their first Grand Slam since 2004, but on curreent form it is very difficult to see how they can. France have been made 1/5 odds on to beat England in Paris while England are only rated as a 7/2 chance to win the game.
