Odds Favour Leinster aganst London Irish in Heineken Cup Decider

London Irish take on reigning Heineken Cup champions Leinster this week at Twickenham, knowing that to qualify for the quarter-finals they must win by at least seven points and score a bonus point in the process.

Leinster will start the match as favourites, but ‘Irish’ will know that they have already beaten the champions once in this tournament and a with a good performance they can do so again. The exiles have only themselves to blame for their difficult plight, they had their last match a fortnight ago against Scarletts won with 20 minutes left, but a total lack of concentration with some added panic, cost them three tries in the closing stages and now its Scarletts who look most likely to qualify with Leinster from the Pool. .
