Cardiff v Northampton Heineken Cup Betting: Back Saints in the double result market

Cardiff Blues face a must win clash against Pool One leaders Northampton Saints in Sunday's Heineken Cup clash. If Cardiff lose at Cardiff City Stadium they are out of the competition but they do go in as marginal favourites with Bet365 bookmakers at 8/13 in the betting. Northampton have been in excellent form all season and surprisingly are slightly less fancied at 5/4, while the draw is an 18/1 bet.

The two sides met last week at Franklin Gardens with Northampton emerging victorious by 23-15 to preserve their 100 per cent record in the Heineken Cup this season. Cardiff are currently third in Pool One with five points and have only won one of the their last six matches in the competition. Cardiff will have to produce something special if they are to overcome Saints and they don't seem to represent much value at 10/11 with a handicap of -3, while Northampton are the same price with +3.
