E! For Poker
No longer does E! just stand for Entertainment in future E! will be synonymous with Poker! Over the last four years online poker has gone bananas. The reason, TV, pure and simple. Now it would not have taken a genius to predict that it was only a matter of time before the TV entertainment channel would cash in on the Poker phenomenon and thats what they are about to do with the forthcoming launch of their new TV show "E! Hollywood Hold-em" due to start on March 17th.
Coming from the E! Channel, it’s a TV poker show featuring guess who? You got it the rich and the famous. America, will love it, seeing their hero’s getting stuck into the nations favourite indoor recreation card game.
Going by the MTV theme of showing off celebrity cribs, the E! Poker event will show off the cribs of the famous stars involved. This is all aimed at giving the show the mainstream appeal for the viewers. For those planning to tune into each show, it will get straight into the action. The dealer will be Phil Laak who is a professional poker player.
I wonder who they will be featuring as the stars, lets hope there are a few female stars involved as this is the one thing that will help attract more women into the game. So make sure to keep an eye out for Hold’em from Hollywood.
