The stock market performance of many online betting companies soared in the UK this year. Speculation of mergers and new companies floating are based massively on the boom of online poker betting.

Internet poker betting is worth $1.5 according to Sportingbet which bought Paradise Poker recently. Their stock market has since risen an incredible 88%. Other companies report similar growth and with many online poker betting sites reporting record traffic things look set to continue.

Nearly 5% of British adults with internet access have used online betting sites and this can only increase with time. Such is the growth PartyGaming is considering buying an online betting site.
