PartyPoker offer new Bad Beat Progressive Jackpots

PartyPoker has recently announced that their progressive Bad Beat Jackpot recently hit the staggering total of $739,621 with one player winning an amazing $250,000.

A Bad Beat progressive jackpot in online poker is awarded when an extremely good poker hand is beaten by one slightly stronger. A good example is when someone with four kings is beaten by another poker player with four aces. It obviously doesn't happen often - but when it does you can imagine how soul destroying it could be. Bad Beat poker jackpots ease the pain considerably.

A bad beat jackpot occurs on PartyPoker whenever four 8's or better loses to a better poker hand. The loser of the hand receives 50%, the winner of the hand gets 25% and the final 25% is split amongst the other players on the table.
