The Spring Juvenile Hurdle takes place in early February each year at Leopardstown racecourse in Ireland. It is 2 mile, Grade 1 National Hunt race for four year olds only, and it is often seen as an important race in preparation for the Triumph Hurdle at Cheltenham Festival.

Triumph Hurdle

Runners at the Spring Juvenile Hurdle often go on to run in the Triumph Hurdle at the prestigious Cheltenham Festival in March.

It takes place each year on the Friday of the Festival, and is the opening race of the final day. There has been some fine winners in the past including Detroit City, Celestial Halo, Zaynar and Soldatino.

Nicky Henderson has trained several winners in previous year and Philip Hobbs has had a few winners, and they are both likely to have some interesting runners in this year's renewal......
