Shergar Cup Betting

The Shergar Cup is a unique horse racing event held at Ascot every year where the jockeys are put in teams and race against each other over the days racing. There are four teams and each jockey earns points dependant on where they finish in the race. Punters can have an ante-post bet on each race as per a normal day's racing, but also bet on who will be the winning team and top scoring jockey.

There are six races and the jockeys are awarded 15 points for a win, 10 points for finsihing second place, five points for third and three points for finishing fourth. Each race is a handicap and teams of three jockeys each are split into Europe, Great Britain, Rest Of World and Ireland.
