Leopardstown Christmas Meeting Betting

The Leopardsown Christmas Meeting offers a four day feast of national hunt horse racing and betting. It takes place each year from boxing day at the Leopardstown racecourse in Ireland and it features some of the leading contenders from Irish and British horse racing.

There are a number of Grade One races during the four day meeting and each day is an exciting spectacle in its own right.

The opening day of the meeting is the Racing Post Novice Chase Day and previous winners of the day's Grade One feature include the likes of Sizing Europe, Moscow Flyer and Realt Dubh, and there will be a wealth of future talent on show again this year.

Day two is Paddy Power Day, which includes the Grade One Paddy Power Dial-a-bet Chase, which has been won in the past by Moscow Flyer, as well as the Paddy Power Handicap Chase and the Paddy Power Future Champions Novices Hurdle.

Day three is Lexus Day and this is one of the most popular days of betting in the UK and Ireland as it features the Lexus Chase, which has been won in the past by Denman, Best Mate and Imperial Call, which highlights the value of the race as they are all Cheltenham Gold Cup winners.

The final day of the meeting is the Istabraq Festival Hurdle day and a host of Champion Hurdle contenders will compete in the Grade One hurdle.
