The Irish Racing Post was launched on the 10th March at Fairyhouse racecourse. The Irish edition of the Racing Post will focus on Irish Horse Racing in much more depth than it has done to date and this is good news for the Irish Horse Racing punter. It was obvious to the Racing Post management that they were not doing justice to Irish Racing and the new chief executive of the Irish Racing Post Alan Byrne was on hand at Fairyhouse to launch the new paper.

The Racing Post is the only main daily newspaper covering horse racing in the UK and Ireland. The Racing Post has a unique tipster in Pricewise who is renowned for being the best Horse Racing tipster in the business. Many punters will buy the paper simply to see what he is tipping up for the main races each weekend and he is feared by all the major bookmakers as the horses that he tips up always have their prices cut because of his following by all the Racing Post's readers.
