The Sussex track plays host to a fabulous week of racing in a racing extravaganza commonly known as Glorious Goodwood. The picturesque venue over the Sussex Downs is one of the finest venues anywhere in racing and plays host to thirty quality races over the five days. The backdrop, the colour and the usual good weather combine perfectly making it easy to understand why it is known as Glorious Goodwood. Although somewhat more relaxed than the Royal Ascot Meeting the Glorious Goodwood Festival is by no means less fashionable and is increasing its popularity more than ever before.
