The Carnival culminates on 27 March with the running of the world’s richest race, the Dubai World Cup, which takes place in 2010 on 27th March.
For the first time the Carnival will be held at the new and magnificent Meydan Racecourse which has cost over 2 Billion Dollars to build and is without doubt the most luxurious racecourse in the world, even boasting its own Marina and Five Star Hotel.
The course has two racetracks, one of turf and the other of All Weather constituted from a material known as Tapeta, which has already proven popular with the horses following a series of trials.
