Blue Square Chase Betting

The Blue Square Handicap Chase, formerly ran as the William Hill.com Handicap Chase is raced over two miles at the Doncaster racecourse, either at the end of January or early in February. The race has only been on the NH Calendar for three years, but such is its appeal that it has so far attracted top quality fields of runners each year with this year being no exception, with several runners holding entries for the upcoming Cheltenham Festival.

2010 Result

The Ferdy Murphy trained Kalahari King proved that his superior class would be enough for him to carry top weight to victory in this very competitive race. The 9 year old jumped superbly well and had plenty to spare over the rest on the run in. He was then clipped into odds of 8/1 for the Queen Mother Champion Chase at the Cheltenham Festival.
