Goodwood Cup Odds: Tactic May Test favourite Age Of Aquarius

Despite having found one too good for him in his last four starts, the Aidan O’Brien trained Age Of Aquarius, is the jolly for the Group Two, Goodwood Cup, over two miles on the third day of Glorious Goodwood. The 4 year old is a short as 6/4 with Paddy Power, while his only competition in the market at least, Tactic, trained by John Dunlop is a 5/2 chance.

Despite being such a warm order favourite, Age Of Aquarius will have quite a big field to overcome, which includes some real competition, despite what the market may say. Last seen finishing a very game second behind Rite Of Passage in the Ascot Gold Cup last month, Age Of Aquarius is reported as being in fine form at home with Ballydoyle very confident of a big run in the race.
