Big Zeb won the race twelve months ago and were it not for a surprise defeat last time out he'd be shorter than the 3/1 odds currently on offer.
The World Hurdle is Thursday's big race and it seems as though we have a race on our hands. For a long time, the odds on favourite Big Buck's looked as though all he needed to do was turn up to land his third successive win in the race, but a fine display in the Cleeve Hurdle last month has seen a raft of money come in for Grands Crus in the race, a 9/4 second favourite .
Imperial Commander heads the betting for the blue riband event of the week, the Cheltenham Gold Cup which Bet365 have him at 7/2 favourite in their non runner no bet market. Nigel Twiston-Davies stable star has had just the one race this season, winning the Betfair Chase at Haydock in the Autumn but is having a racecourse gallop at Kempton on Saturday. Denman and Long run are the 6/1 second favourites, with two time winner Kauto Star 7/1 and Hennessy Gold Cup winner 8/1.
As well as being the first bookmaker to go non runner no bet for this year's festival, Bet365 are also going best odds guaranteed on these markets. This means if you have your bet now on the race and the price drifts come the day of the race, you'll get paid out at the bigger odds if your horse wins the race.
