Dubai Sheema Classic Odds Show No Clear Favourite

This weekend will see the richest race card anywhere in the world take place at Meydan with Dubai World Cup night taking centre stage, the Dubai Sheema Classic is looking potentially like the most exciting race of the entire evening. The race itself is run on turf over 1 mile 4 furlongs and this year has attracted some of the best entries the race has ever seen. This will of course be the first Sheema Classic at Meydan which has already been declared a huge hit with jockeys, trainers and punters despite only being used for the first time for the 2010 Carnival.

The betting for the 2010 Dubai Sheema Classic is the most competitive of the night with no clear favourite emerging from the pack at this stage with up to five horses under the 10/1 mark. He is vying for favouritism at this stage with Spanish Moon who has been racing around the world for the past year and has to have chances here if on top form. He was second in this race last year and the Sir Michael Stoute horse has followed that up with good places in the Breeders Cup Turf and in the Hong Kong Vase in December. One that always runs well every time he appears is the Mick Channon trained Youmzain who heads to Meydan well backed by punters. He is the horse that has finished second three times-in-a-row in the Prix De L'Arc De Triomphe including last September behind Sea the Stars so has to be taken seriously in this company. Youmzain is currently available at 7/1 with Ladbrokes.com to take the win here with Kieren Fallon on board and looking for the win.
