Twice Over Has Great Odds for Dubai World Cup at Meydan

The Henry Cecil trained Twice Over will lead a strong British challenge in the Dubai World Cup on the new tapeta surface at Meydan this weekend. The other British entries are Brian Meehan’s Crowded House, who has already shown good form in two Group races during the Dubai Carnival and Gitano Hernando, trained by Marco Botti, an easy winner of the Winter Derby Trial on the All Weather at Lingfield at the end of last month.

But it is Twice Over, third in the Breeders Cup Classic at Santa Anita, behind the brilliant Zenyatta last time, who will start as favourite, despite the fact that Gio Ponti, who finished ahead of him in second place in the ‘Classic’ is also in this field.
