In this race there has been a lot of positive vibes concerning the unbeaten Wootton Bassett from the Richard Fahey yard, who looks very capable of extending his unbeaten run. He will be up against several who he has already toppled, but such is his reputation he is likely to go off quite a short price favourite and offer no real value to punters.
The first of our preference tips therefore is given to the Brian Meehan trained, Murbeh, who is also unbeaten from two starts and who looked mighty impressive last time when winning the DBS St Leger Yearling Stakes at Ripon. He is a very progressive sort who will undoubtedly have improved since his Ripon success. At 10/1 with paddypower he looks a great price for a horse in with such a strong chance. The second of the tips is for each way backers , who could do a lot worse than go for two time winner, Madany, who is very highly thought of at the Barry Hills yard and who is expected to run a big race. In his other three starts he has been second twice and third once, proving that consistency is his forte and as such looks a sound bet.

The Group Two Park Hill Stakes looks a cracking renewal with several Group One fillies dropping down in class but upping themselves in distance, as this race is over an extended 1 mile and 6 furlongs, meaning that we need to find a horse who can stay as well as win. 7/2 Favourite is the David Lanigan trained, Meeznah, who like most in the race is attempting the longer trip for the first time, however she is coming down in class and under normal circumstances should have the beating of the rest. Confidence at the stable is high and we think she is worthy of being one of our two tips for the race.
As usual the second of our two tips in the race is for each way backers and comes in the form of the Mark Tomkins trained, Brushing, who has very attractive odds of 20/1 with paddy Power. She is a winner of three of her last four starts and although two of those were in handicap company the third came in a listed race over 12 furlongs at York last month where it was clear she had improved and would enjoy a longer trip. She should be good enough to get herself into the frame in this.
