Stan James Go Four Places On Champion Hurdle

Champion Hurdle sponsors StanJames.com have announced they are paying out on 4 places in their 2011 Stan James Champion Hurdle ante-post market. The offer replaces their previous Stan James Champion Hurdle offer, which was a free bet refund on all ante-post bets on the race if Binocular wins the Champion Hurdle for the second consecutive year in March.

The new offer with the online firm, who sponsor the Champion Hurdle for the first time in 2011, began on New Year’s Day and is set to end on January 22 when the StanJames.com Champion Hurdle Trial is run at Haydock.

The 2011 Champion Hurdle has the look of a high-class renewal, and several horses at big prices can be given decent each-way chances. For example the 2010 Champion Hurdle runner-up, Khyber Kim, is currently available at odds of 14/1 with Stan James. Khyber Kim finished second in the 2010 Champion Hurdle at odds of 7/1. Another at a huge price is last season’s hype horse Dunguib who can be backed at 20/1. Neither horse has run yet this term.

Other horse’s of interest at double-figure odds are the lightly-raced promising youngsters Silviniaco Conti and Cue Card, who can be backed with StanJames.com at 18/1 and 20/1 respectively.

Fans of the reigning Champion Hurdler Binocular will be interested to know that the horse has yet to finish out of the places in three outings at Cheltenham. Binocular can be backed at 5/1 for the Champion Hurdle with StanJames.com.
