The WGC HSBC Champions is part of the yearly World Golf Championships - which is a group of events that are sanctioned by the European Tour, PGA Tour, Asian Tour, Sunshine Tour and PGA Tour of Australasia.

The WGC HSBC Champions tends to be a popular event for the top players from around the globe and in turn it makes for an extremely competitive betting head for punters. It takes place each year at the Sheshan Golf Club in Shanghai, China, in November.

Martin Kaymer won his first tour title for 10 months and his first World Golf Championships title with a fine performance on the final day. The German closed the tournament with a stunning back nine of 29 to post a final round score of 63, with Fredrik Jacobson second and there was also a welcome return to form for Graeme McDowell in third.
