Tour Championship Betting

The Tour Championship is the final round of the FedEx Cup play-offs on the PGA Tour as the top 30 players, in terms of FedEx Cup points rankings, compete for this prestigious event. The final 30 to compete are decided after the penultimate event, the BMW Championship, last week.

The Tour Championship takes place at the East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia and because of the stellar field involved there is always a lot of betting interest.

Competition for those final 30 places to make this event are understandably fierce, not least for the fact it is one of the richest events on the PGA Tour, boasting a price purse of $8m.

Golf veterans Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods have each won this tournament twice and despite being on the wane in recent years they could offer some real value in the odds when in attendance. The likes of Jim Furyk and Adam Scott are also previous winners, while Camilo Villegas caused an upset in 2008 when he won the event from long odds.
