PGA Grand Slam of Golf Betting

The PGA Grand Slam of Golf is a unique event as it is an invitational tournament which involves the four major winners from that season, so the US Masters, US Open, Open Championship and USPGA Championship champions will compete in this two day tournament.

It is held each year in Bermuda, where it was first held at the Mid Ocean Club before moving to the Port Royal Golf Course. It takes place each year during mid-October and it is a rare betting opportunity as it involves such a select field of four.

The prize money from the tournament currently stands at $1.35m dollars, although it doesn't count towards PGA Tour or European Tour earnings as it is organised by the PGA of America.

The four major winners are all invited but if a player wins two majors or declines the invitation, then the player with the best overall finishes in that year's majors receives an invite.

Needless to say there have been some stellar names to win this title in recent years, not least the likes of Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Ernie Els. It is a stroke play rather than a match play event and current form and past experience of the course is likely to be crucial in deciding who wins this year - so it is far to say that it is worth doing a bit of betting research before placing your ante-post bet.
