KLM Open Betting

The KLM Open is one of the rare events to be held in Holland and in itself is a rare betting opportunity. It has moved around in the European Tour calendar but is currently held in September, and offers an opportunity for players to pick up valuable points in Race To Dubai.

It is held each year at the Hilversumsche Golf Club in the Netherlands and has previously been known as the Dutch Open.

Despite the rarity of having an event in the Netherlands, it still attracts some top players and there is always enough to keep punters interested in the betting. Some great names have won the tournament in the past, with USPGA Championship winner Martin Kaymer, British Open winner Darren Clarke, Bernhard Langer and Lee Westwood all having won the tournament from short odds.

Joost Luiten nearly provided a surprise Dutch winner in 2007 and he is sure to be amongst the favourites to be top Dutchman this year.

Meanwhile, Simon Dyson is a three-time winner of the tournament and he is well worth looking out for in the ante-post betting for this exciting golf event.

Simon Dyson won the KLM Open for the third time in his career as he finished one shot clear of the rest of the field. Dyson produced a superb final round 66, which included two bogeys, to secure his sixth European Tour title.
