Avantha Masters Betting

The Indian Masters was first held in 2008 at the Delhi Golf Club but it is now held at the DLF Golf and Country Club in New Delhi. It is part of the European Tour and is co-sanctioned by the Asian Tour.

The tournament is currently known as the Avantha Masters after the 2009 event was cancelled following security concerns in the aftermath of the Mumbai terror attacks.

The event takes place during February each year and offers a prize purse of 1.8million (euros). It comes before the WGC-Accenture Matchplay event in the golf calendar.

2010 saw Australian Andrew Dodt upset the odds to claim victory from the likes of Jeev Milkha Singh, and with a slightly under strength field usually in attendance in Delhi there is plenty of value to be found in the ante-post betting for both the outright winner and place market betting.

WGC-CA Championship Betting

The WGC-CA Championship is the second World Golf Championship event of the year and involves massive prize money. There is always a strong field as it involves the top 30 players from the PGA tour, the top 20 players from the Race to Dubai, and the top 3 players from the Sunshine Tour, Australasian Tour, Asian Tour and Japanese Tour.

Previous winners include great names such as Tiger Woods, Ernie Els and Phil Mickelson. South African Els produced a fantastic performance in 2010 to beat the likes of Graeme McDowell and Martin Kaymer.
