Trophee Hassan II Betting

The Hassan Golf II Trophy has been in existence since 1971 but has only been recognised as part of the European Golf Tour since 2010. It is a rare event as it is held in Morocco at the Golf Du Palais Royal at Agadir and takes place each year during the end of March/beginning of April.

It is the final Race To Dubai event before the prestigious US Masters in Augusta, Georgia. Despite only becoming a European Tour event in 2010, it has hosted many great names of golf in the past including Padraig Harrington, Colin Montgomerie and Ernie Els.

It will be interesting to see if those players are among the field this year as they could have a big effect on the ante-post betting. While in 2010 the lesser known Welshman Rhys Davies upset the odds to win the tournament in its first year on the European Tour and he is well worth looking at in the betting again to win or place. With a 1.375 million (Euros) prize fund on offer there are sure to be plenty of well known golfers involved for the punter to have a bet on.

Michael Hoey won teh 2012 Trophee Hassan II as a final round 65 gave him a three shot victory over Damien McGarne. Hoey had trailed McGrane by two shots going into the final day but managed to turn things arond with a brilliant final round.
