Children's Miracle Network Classic Betting

The Children's Miracle Network Classic is part of the Fall Series on the PGA Tour and it is a slightly unusual event in that it is held each October at the Walt Disney World Resort.

The event takes place on the Magnolia and Palm Courses in Florida and it is one of the most popular tournaments for players on the tour. The high quality of player in attendance in turn makes it an ideal betting opportunity for punters as some stellar names occupy the top spots in the ante-post odds.

Many of the American players live around the Florida area and take the opportunity to play on the relatively local courses, while with the current season drawing to a close several players will be playing to earn or retain a tour card or secure a top 125 finish in the tour's money list as they bid to ensure they are on the PGA Tour next season.

A prize purse of $4.7m is on offer and in recent years some of the lesser lights on the tour have shone and provided value for golf punters, particularly those who have had a bet on the ante-post odds. Robert Garrigus is a recent winner, while Stephen Ames is worth keeping an eye on and could provide each-way value as he claimed the title in 2007 and 2009.

Luke Donald produced a stunning final round display to take victory and ensure that he wins the PGA Tour money list title. Donald needed a top two finish to beat Webb Simpson to to the money title but things looked bleak when he was four shots behind the leader heading into the final day. Donald though produced an inspired round of 64, including six birdies, to storm to victory, while Simpson could only tie for sixth.
