BMW PGA Championship Betting

Regarded as the Flagship tournament of the European Tour, the BMW PGA Championship takes place each May at the magnificent remodelled West course at the Wentworth in Surrey.

The tournament was founded back in 1955 and it moved to Wentworth permanently in 1984.Until the Race to Dubai was introduced, the championship carried the biggest purse on the European Tour, nonetheless whilst it cannot boast that anymore, it still carries the same prestige and will be contested by all the leading European golfers in the world plus a host of others from tours elsewhere.

The player with the most wins in the tournament is recently knighted Sir Nick Faldo with four wins in 1978, 1980, 1981 and 1989. Those on three wins are Peter Alliss, Bernhard Langer and 2010 Ryder Cup captain, Colin Montgomerie.
