BMW International Golf Open Odds: Kaymer has the Form to Win again in Munich

What a great boost for the European PGA to see so many of those who played in the US Open last week, return to Europe to contest this very prestigious BMW International Open in Munich this week. Heading the betting is World number 6, Ernie Els, who finished 3rd last week at Pebble Beach, behind Graeme McDowell. Paul Casey also in the world’s top ten will come to Munich in reasonable if not top form. Having started the year with a string of top ten finishes, including 2nd place in the WGC – Accenture Matchplay, Casey is still playing well, but will be somewhat disappointed with his performance at Pebble Beach last week, where he finished in a tie for 40th place after being very prominent for the first two rounds. If Casey can put together four solid rounds then he might well be the man to back. The course will certainly suit his style and he is overdue a win this season. Defending champion in fact is Nick Dougherty, but even he would admit that his form is not as it should be this year so far, with no wins and more importantly no top ten finishes. That said his form was not much better before he won last year so perhaps he should not be completely dismissed as a possible winner, especially with odds of 66/1 from VC Bet.com
