Brendan Is A Steele For The Career Builder Challenge
The PGA Tour campaign moves from Hawaii to California for the Career Builder Challenge on Thursday and the tournament will again feature a three-course rotation, with a round each on the Stadium Course at PGA West, the PGA West's Nicklaus Tournament Course and La Quinta during the first three days before the final round on the Stadium Course...

Ever since 2012, this event has used three different courses and it features a 54-hole cut, with Jon Rahm favourite in California. Rahm rose to prominence with three victories worldwide last year and he can be backed at 10/1 after finishing runner-up at the Tournament of Championship on his first start of 2018.
The in-form Brian Harman is a touch further back at 14/1 and he celebrates his 31st birthday this week. Harman will be looking to mark his birthday with a win after racking up five successive top-tens following his tie for 4th at the Sony Open last week.
It will be a big ask for Harman to challenge again and the same can be said of Patton Kizzire (35/1). who is looking for a third win in five starts on the PGA Tour following his success in Hawaii on Sunday.
We prefer to side with a former champion in California though as Patrick Reed makes great appeal at 20/1. A 135/1 winner of this event in 2014, Reed has come a long way since then and the 27-year-old will be looking to continue where he left off in 2017 as he racked up seven top-20s in his final 10 starts of last year.
Reed has celebrated the birth of his second child in recent months and we are expecting a mature performance from the American at the start of what is a Ryder Cup year.
Tip #1: Patrick Reed (each way) @ 20/1 with Betfred.
Brendan Steele tends to perform well in his home state of California as he has gone 2-34-6 in three appearances at the Career Builder Challenge and the two-time Safeway Open winner blew away the cobwebs at the Tournament of Champions in his first start of 2018.
Tip #2: Brendan Steele (each way) @ 33/1 with Betfred.com.
Finally, Adam Hadwin's form at the Career Builder Challenge is progressive as he has gone 48-6-2 in the past three years and he too should be ready to go after returning at the Tournament of Champions. The Canadian won his first PGA Tour title at the Valspar Championship last season and he could be a real threat now he has got that maiden win under his belt.
Tip #3: Adam Hadwin (each way) @ 66/1 with Betfred bookmakers.
