A top class field will contest the AT&T National Pro-Am Golf Championship this week at Pebble Beach which will be headed by World number three and three time winner of this event, Phil Mickelson.
Despite the celebrity razzmatazz that goes hand in hand with this tournament, it has always been an event that the top players want to win, which is why many of them will be competing.
As always when Tiger Woods is not in the field, Mickelson is favourite to win with odds of 9/1 provided by Ladbrokes, he is well clear in the betting from players like, Retief Goosen, Jim Furyk and 2009 champion, Dustin Johnson, who are all at around the 16/1 mark.

European interest is quite profound this week, with Padraig Harrington leading the way, however the Irishman will know that he will have to improve considerably after missing the cut last week in the Northern Trust Open; Harrington is quoted at 25/1. Luke Donald showed he was back to his best last week finishing second behind Steve Stricker in the Northern Trust. It was a performance that pushed him to number 23 in the world and one that suggested that he could be the form player coming into the tournament. Donald is also a 25/1 shot with Ladbrokes.
