Keep The Faith With David Lingmerth At The Greenbrier Classic
Fresh from successfully backing Kyle Stanley to win at 45/1 last week, our attention turns to the return of The Greenbrier Classic to the PGA Tour after last year's event was cancelled due to the horrendous flooding that affected West Virginia. There is plenty at stake on the Old White TPC as four spots for the 2017 Open Championship are available to the top-finishers who are not already exempt for Royal Birkdale...

The Market Leaders
There is a forecast of more rain this week but thankfully it won't be anywhere near the levels that the state saw twelve months ago and we can look forward to plenty of low scoring at Old White, which has hosted the Greenbrier since its inception in 2010.
The 7,286 yard course is a par-70 and it has undergone a few changes since then but we expect it to play as it has done in recent years, which perhaps doesn't bode well for Betfred's 16/1 favourite, Patrick Reed. The American has a best result of 26th to show from three previous visits to White Sulphur Springs but he may attract interest off the back of seven top-25 finishes in his last eight outings on the PGA Tour.
Kevin Kisner has a slightly better profile (16/1) for this event as the recent Colonial winner was a runner-up to Danny Lee here in 2015, albeit he had missed three successive cuts in West Virginia prior to that.
Bill Haas lost out in a play-off in 2011 but is a touch short for us at 18/1, while Phil Mickelson (22//1) may be riding a run of seventeen consecutive cuts made but he has failed to make the weekend in all three visits to Old White.
It is David Lingmerth who ranks as our top tip for the week after he returned yet another place finish when we backed him each-way last week. The Swede tied 5th at the Quick Loans National to ensure he has now finished tied 26th or better in six of his last seven outings and the 2015 Memorial winner is thriving with putter in hand at the moment.
The 29-year-old has gone 9-16-6 in his three previous to Sulphur Springs and he is in electric form ahead of his next crack at the Greenbrier.
Tip #1: David Lingmerth (each way) @ 25/1 with Betfred.
Danny Lee arrives as the defending champion after the man from New Zealand secured his maiden PGA Tour title at the 2015 Greenbrier. Lee is in good form for his defence too as his recent results read: 5-6-49-47-3-22. Lee is an obvious threat on a course he clearly enjoys.
Tip #2: Danny Lee (each way) @ 25/1 with Betfred.com.
Finally, Keegan Bradley is striking the ball very well and he is turning some stylish golf into results as he followed a top-ten at the Travelers with a tie for 5th at the Quicken Loans National. The 2011 US PGA winner is four-for-four at the Greenbrier, including a tie for 4th when he visited in 2014.
Tip #3: Keegan Bradley (each way) @ 30/1 with Bet 365.
