Tottenham against QPR was a regular Premier League clash in the mid-1990s when both sides were established Premier League clubs. QPR have since been forced to ply their trade in the lower divisions but they are back amongst the elite after gaining promotion with Neil Warnock two seasons ago. Mark Hughes took over but he has now been replaced with Totenham's old manager Harry Redknapp, who will be trying to ensure that Rangers will be mixing with Spurs more regularly, although they face a tough task against a Tottenham side that have been consistently challenging for the top four in recent seasons.
Spurs justified odds on favouritsm when the two teams met in September as they came from a goal down to win 2-1 at White Hart Lane. However, QPR managed a 0-0 draw in the second meeting between the two this season.
