Npower League Two Betting

The Npower League Two is the fourth division in English professional football and is a popular football betting competition. Twenty-four teams make up the division, with room for four teams to be promoted and two teams to be relegated ot of the football league. The top three teams at the end of the regular season get promoted automatically, whilst the teams who finish fourth to seventh battle it out in the League 2 play-offs.

With 46 matches played by each team during the season, there are plenty of betting opportunites. Last year's champions were Chesterfield, followed by Wycombe and Bury. Stevenage beat Torquay in the League 2 play-off final and joined the other three teams in being promoted to League One.

New to League Two in the 2011/12 season are Crawley and AFC Wimbledon, who were both promoted from the Football Conference last season. Dagenham and Redbridge, Bristol Rovers, Plymouth and Swindon were all relegated from League One and will be looking to bounce straight back in the 2011/12 season.

Npower League One Betting

Sheffield Wednesday were the pre-season favourites to win the 2011/2012 League One division but they face a tough task such is the strength and depth of the division.
