Chelsea will bid to return to form when they take on Champions League minnows Genk on Tuesday night. Andre Villas-Boas's side were left reeling by their 5-3 defeat to Arsenal at the weekend but they start as 2/9 favourites in the betting for their Group E clash at the Cristal Arena, with Genk a big 12/1 to cause an upset with Paddy Power.
The defeat to Arsenal was the first time that Villas-Boas had tasted defeat at Stamford Bridge and the manner in which his side conceded the goals will be most concerning. It was their second defeat on the bounce in the Premier League following their 1-0 loss to QPR the previous weekend.
They have been far more resolute defensively in Europe though as they have conceded just one goal in three matches in the Champions League so far. They romped to a 5-0 win over Genk two weeks ago and this would seem a perfect fixture for them to find their feet once more.
Chelsea are 5/6 to win to nil on Tuesday and that could be worth backing as Genk are yet to score in the group stages so far. The Belgian side did win a thriller with Club Brugge at the weekend as they came from 4-2 down to win 5-4.
Both sides clearly enjoyed some high scoring affairs in their domestic leagues at the weekend and over 2.5 goals this week is 8/13 on, but for a bit more value it could be worth a punt on over 3.5 goals at 13/8 with PaddyPower.
Chelsea must do without midfielders Ramires and Michael Essien but they should still have enough to overcome Genk. Fernando Torres is likely to start up front and he is 3/1 to score first after he scored two goals in the 5-0 win over Genk, taking his tally to four goals in his last six appearances.

Genk have endured a tough season so far as they languish in sixth in the Belgian League and they have some serious selection problems as Daniel Pudi is suspended, Torben Joneleit is injured, while Anele Ngongca, Marvin Ogunjimi, Abel Masuero, David Hubert and Jeroen Simaeys are all doubtful.
The one constant in their side though is Jelle Vossen, who notched 20 goals last season and who has five so far this term, with PaddyPower going 16/1 that he scores first on Tuesday.
However, Genk have had trouble keeping clean sheets themselves as they have conceded 12 of their 18 goals this season in the last half an hour of matches, and the last goal to be scored on Tuesday after the 76th minute can be backed at 10/11.
Genk have only picked up two wins in their last seven in all competitions and had scored just four goals in seven before the weekend. Furthermore, they are winless in nine Champions League matches and Chelsea should return to form with a win in Belgium.
