Man Utd v Aston Villa Odds: Back Reds to come from behind and win again in the betting

Top of the table Manchester United will be looking to take their unbeaten record in the Premier League to 24 games when they host Aston Villa at Old Trafford on Tuesday night. United have had to come from behind to win their last two matches and they could face a tricky test against a rejuvenated Villa side. United are hot favourites with William Hill though and are industry best priced odds of 1/3 on, with Villa an outside 15/2 bet, and the draw is available at 4/1.

Sir Alex Ferguson will be boosted by the return of his first choice defence as Edwin Van Der Sar, Rafael, Patrice Evra, Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic all return on Tuesday. The presence of Vidic will be unwelcome news for Villa as the Serbian scored a last minute equaliser to salvage a 2-2 Premier League draw for United at Villa Park in November after Villa had been 2-0 up. The comebacks have been a regular feature of United over the years and they have continued in that vein during the past week as they overturned a two goal deficit to beat Blackpool 3-2 last week and beat Southampton 2-1 on Saturday after falling behind.

United can be backed to come from behind and win on Tuesday at odds of 13/2 with Hills which looks really tempting as Villa have dropped 14 points from winning positions, or the double result of a half time Villa win and full time Man Utd win can be backed at 25/1.

For United it will most likely be a case of whether Javier Hernandez or Wayne Rooney partners 20 goal striker Dimitar Berbatov up front. Berbatov has scored five in his last two with 15 of his goals coming at Old Trafford, and he is currently 10/3 favourite with WilliamHill.com to score first on Tuesday. While United will be confident of scoring as they have scored in every League match at Old Trafford and Villa have failed to keep a clean sheet away from home this term. With that in mind over 3.5 goals can be backed at odds of 13/8.

Villa have been much improved since the arrival of Darren Bent and three wins in a row in all competitions and a run of no defeat in three away league matches has seen them pull away from relegation to thirteenth in the table. Bent should come back in to the starting lineup after missing the FA Cup win over Blackburn on Saturday, and he can be backed at odds of 15/2 with Hills to score first on Tuesday which looks good when you consider United have conceded first in their last two.

Alternatively, you can look at the 'first goalscorer coupled' with Hills and the odds of Berbatov or Bent to score first are currently available at 15/8. Villa may have won this fixture 1-0 last season but United should have too much for an improving Villa and the 3-1 scoreline can be backed at odds of 10/1.
