Sunday's first live match of the afternoon is Bolton v Chelsea at the Reebok Stadium. Owen Coyle's Bolton side are bottom of the Premier League and it looks like a tough proposition on Sunday, with Chelsea in good form and looking to keep touch with the league leaders. The bookmakers certainly make this Chelsea's to lose, with Bet365 going odd of 8/15 on an away win whilst Bolton can be backed at 11/2. The draw is available at odds of 3/1.
Bolton sit rock bottom of the Premier League after six matches and haven't won his since their opening day 4-0 victory over Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road. Add to that a losing record of five straight games at the Reebok Stadium and the alarm bells will be well and truly ringing if they can't get a win against Chelsea on Sunday. That doesn't look likely given past matches with their London visitors, having lost the last two matches between the clubs 4-0 at the Reebok. Defeats to Man City, Liverpool, Man Utd, Norwich and Arsenal leave Owen Coyle's side routed to the bottom of the table but the Scot will take solace in the fact that five of his sic matches were against five of the top six finishers in the Premier League last season.
Chelsea arrive in the north west in good form, dropping just four points so far this season, with a 0-0 draw at Stoke on the opening weekend and going down 3-1 at the hands of Manchester United a fortnight ago. Andres Villas Boas is slowly getting a tune out of his team and if anything the Blues were a touch unfortunate not to come away with a result at Old Trafford. The Portuguese manager is also getting Fernando Torres back to his best, although the Spaniard will miss Sunday's match through suspension after getting sent off in the win over Swansea at Stamford Bridge last weekend.
Bolton have been finding goals hard to come by, scoring more than one just once this season against Manchester City and that was from only two shots on target. Owen Coyle's side have drawn a blank on three occassions and backing Chelsea to win to nil at odds of 6/4 looks a good bet with Bet 365.
These two teams played out successive 4-0 wins to Chelsea on their last visits to the Reebok and you can back that correct score at odds of 20/1 this Sunday with Bet365. Daniel Sturridge spent a large period of last season on loan against Bolton with some success and the England under 21 International is 9/2 joint favourite to score first in Fernando Torres' absence.
