Sunderland v Man Utd Betting: Darren Bent Could End the United Premier League Dream

By the time Manchester United take the field at the Stadium of Light on Sunday to face Sunderland they will already know if their chances of a fourth consecutive Premier League title are still realistic. Chelsea of course can virtually assure themselves of the title earlier in the day, with a win at Anfield against Liverpool, but if they do not achieve the win, then United are still very much in the race, but only if they themselves win this match. Should Chelsea have secured three points before this match commences then the 8/1 odds of a Sunderland victory or indeed the 7/2 about the draw, look slightly more inviting, particularly as they have been in great form lately and are unbeaten at home so far in 2010. The bottom line here in fact is if Chelsea win and United lose or draw, then the title goes to Stamford Bridge

United top scorer, Wayne Rooney remains doubtful for the match as does skipper, Rio Ferdinand. We think an under strength United team will have to work very hard to win this match. Sunderland admittedly have little left to play for this season, but they would like to finish the in front of their home fans by getting at least a point from the game.
