Wigan host Fulham at the DW Stadium in the Premier League this Saturday and they will be desperate to pick up the win and all three points. The Latics are having a nightmare run of results and have now lost six in row after their defeat at Newcastle last weekend. Fulham are suffering a bit themselves and they have lost two on the bounce to put them just hovering above the relegation zone.

Performances have been poor from Wigan and they haven’t look like winning a game in a long time. They have scored the fewest goals in the league (5) while also conceding some of the most (15). Their last outing against Newcastle they played decent and lost 1-0 but again they couldn’t take control of a game and weren’t clinical enough in front of goal to earn themselves points.
Fulham are just two points ahead of Wigan in the league which is a surprise as they have not been as bad as Roberto Martinez’s side. The Cottagers have been managing Europa League football along with their domestic fixtures but they have still secured some good results recently. A 6-0 hammering of QPR was a great win while a 2-2 draw with Man City was a well-earned point.
They would have secured a point last weekend at home to Everton but they succumbed to two very late goals from the Toffees. It must have been very frustrating for Martin Jol as striker Bobby Zamora missed an open goal which Everton then capitalised upon to get the win.
This is a tough one to call on Saturday as both sides can produce mixed performances but Fulham look good for the away win. They are a better side than their standing in the league at the moment and Wigan have shown nothing recently that they are ready to get a win.
