The North East rivals Sunderland and Middlesbrough go head-to-head at the Stadium Light on Sunday in the FA Cup fourth round. The Wear-Tees derby may not have the same hype and hysteria as Sunderland vs Newcastle but both clubs will still be gunning for both the win and local bragging rights. However, they haven’t met in the competition since way back in 1975 when Middlesbrough recorded their one and only victory. They have met in the league numerous times since then with the spoils shared in their last encounter in 2009.
