Arsenal v Chelsea Betting: Didier Drogba favourite to continue amazing goalscoring run

The big match of the Christmas period takes place on Bank Holiday Monday as Arsenal welcome Chelsea to the Emirates Stadium. The Gunners sit second in the table going into the week's fixtures, just one point ahead of Chelsea in fourth. Arsenal have lost two of their last four matches in the Premier League, including last time out against Manchester United losing 1-0 at Old Trafford. The Ivorian scored in Chelsea's 2-0 win at Stamford Bridge over Arsenal in October, to add to the brace he got in this fixture last season, making it ten goals in fourteen matches against Arsene Wenger's side.

Goals could very well be on the cards at the Emirates,with neither side abale to keep a clean sheet of late. Both sides have conceeded at least once in their last five matches in the Premier League and you can bet on both teams to score on Monday at odds of 4/6. Chelsea of course go into the match winless in five matches and have fallen from the top of the Premier League down to fourth position as a result. There were signs howver in their 1-1 draw against Spurs last time out that Carlo Ancelotti's side are on the mend. With Frank Lampard back in the team it will give the Blues an added goalscoring threat, but rather than backing the away side to win, we suggest that the draw at 11/5 looks the best bet, with both sides to continue to fall behind Manchester United in the title race.
