A shell-shocked Manchester United head to the Recreation Ground to take on Aldershot in the fourth round of the Carling Cup on Tuesday night. Unsurprisingly, United start as odds on favourite at 2/9, while Aldershot are 12/1 to cause a stunning upset and add to Sir Alex Ferguson's recent woes, with Bet 365 pricing the draw at 5/1.
Ferguson will no doubt see this fixture as an unwanted distraction for his side as they have a tricky league match against Everton coming up at the weekend and they are then back in Champions League action next week.

Dean Holdsworth's side have nothing to lose in this match as nobody expects a side currently positioned fifteenth in League Two to get anything against the Premier League giants. The fact that they had lost five in a row before their 5-2 win over Dagenham at the weekend would suggest they face a struggle.
Furthermore, they have lost five times at home this season, winning at the Recreation Ground only once in the league. They have beaten West Ham, Carlisle and Rochdale to reach the fourth round of the Carling Cup, but United offer a completely different challenge and the United win with a handicap of -2 goals could be worth backing at 6/4.
