There is live Premier League action from the DW Stadium on Saturday lunchtime as Wigan take on Arsenal. It is the Gunners who start favourites with the bookies for a fixture that has tended to produce plenty of goals in recent years and Arsene Wenger will be keen for his side to reaffirm their top-four credentials this weekend.

Arsenal centre back Thomas Vermaelen is a player that has tended to enjoy playing against Wigan as he has scored four goals in his last three appearances against them. The Belgian is a tempting 8/1 to score anytime on Saturday and that could be worth a look after he scored the equaliser against Bradford last week.
A punt on Vermaelen looks even more tempting when you consider that Wigan have conceded a league-high seven goals to defenders this season and the Latics are really struggling for form now. Roberto Martinez's team have won one and lost five of their last seven league games and they find themselves down in 18th place in the league table, with Ladbrokes bookmakers pricing them 7/2 to win and 11/4 to draw on Saturday.
It is defensively that Wigan have struggled most as they have conceded two goals in eight of their last nine home league games, while failing to keep a clean sheet in any of them. The form of goalkeeper Ali Al Hamsi remains a worry and Arsenal could take advantage if Walcott can maintain his recent scoring form.
