Goals expected in Chelsea v Watford thriller on Saturday
Chelsea were made to work for a Champions League point on Wednesday night, as the Blues played out an epic 3-3 draw with Roma, but Antonio Conte's men will have little time to look back on that match as they host a red-hot Watford in Saturday's lunchtime kick-off in the Premier League, and with the Hornets flying high in the top-four then they will be aiming to continue their fine recent run, and pick up some points from Stamford Bridge.
- Watford are 4th in Premier League, Chelsea are 5th
- Alvaro Morata has scored six league goals this season
- Watford beat Arsenal 2-1 last weekend

How Will It Go?
Chelsea completed the double over Watford last season, but both wins were hard-fought successes as they won 4-3 at home, and 2-1 at Vicarage Road, and with Watford sparkling on the big stage this season then it's surprising to see the Blues as short as 4/11 with Ladbrokes for a win on Saturday in this fascinating Chelsea v Watford clash.
Watford produced a fine display to down Arsenal last Sunday, as a late Tom Cleverley strike handed Marco Silva's side a superb three points, and if they can shown a similar fight in Saturday's clash then the 10/1 with William Hill for a Watford win is sure to attract a host of bets from those looking for a shock.
The draw is a best-priced 9/2 with Betfred, and Silva will feel his Watford side can come away from the Bridge with a point, but Chelsea ooze class when on the top of their game, and if they can withstand an early barrage from Watford then their class could prevail, and with Alvaro Morata likely to shine again then the Blues can edge it narrowly.
Goals Expected At The Bridge
Chelsea's midweek Champions League contest certainly showed frailties amongst their defence, and this is certainly something Watford will target, and having scored 13 goals in their opening Premier League matches then it's easy to see them at least scoring once at Stamford Bridge.
With that in mind, the 21/20 for both teams to score in 90 minutes looks the standout bet of the match with William Hill, as while Chelsea could conceded once, they are sure to unlock a Watford defence that have also conceded 13 goals this season in the league, so the odds for both teams to score certainly looks worth a bet.
Morata To Ignite Chelsea Win
Alvaro Morata has propelled into the limelight since his arrival at Stamford Bridge, and he has already bagged six goals for the Blues, at a rate of one every 82 minutes, and he is the most likely first goalscorer, and while the 5/2 with bet365 for him to net first looks a little short, it has to be the bet for Saturday's match.
Eden Hazard shined in midweek, and he is 19/4 with Unibet to bag the first goal, while Watford fans will hopre the 12/1 chance with Betfred, Troy Deeney can open the scoring, but it's Morata that is the safe bet, and he could well ignite a home win in a cracking contest.
