The live Saturday lunchtime kick-off in the Premier League sees Chelsea travel to Carrow Road to take on Norwich. The Blues start the match as favourites at 8/13 on in the match betting, while the Canaries are 9/2 to beat a top-five team for the first time this season, with the draw available at 3/1 with Bet 365.
The Canaries have impressed on their return to the top flight and they are unbeaten in four matches in all competitions, winning their last three in a row. Paul Lambert's men look well set to avoid relegation as they sit in ninth place in the table, although they might struggle to get anything this weekend after failing to take points off any top-five team.
Their defensive record leaves a lot to be desired so far as they have failed to keep a clean sheet in the league. Both teams to score is 8/13 odds on and Norwich possess enough attacking talent to get on the scoresheet, with Steve Morison in fine form. Morison has scored three in his last three and he has notched the final goal of the match on each occasion, with Bet365.com pricing him a tempting 9/1 to score last on Saturday.
Both teams have scored in 18 of Norwich's 21 league games and they will do well to keep Chelsea out. Chelsea have scored in each of their last twelve league matches and they arrive on a decent run of form. Andre Villas-Boas's men have only lost one of their last nine league games and points this weekend will be crucial.
They currently sit in fourth place, six points behind Spurs, and nothing less than a win will do at Carrow Road. The Blues away record has been impressive as they are the fourth best team on the road and are unbeaten in their last five away from Stamford Bridge.
The signing of Gary Cahill should help to shore up their defence and the return to fitness of Michael Essien is a huge boost. Essien returned in the fortuitous 1-0 win over Sunderland last weekend, where Fernando Torres looked somewhere close to his best. We fancy the Spaniard can end his 14 hour goal drought, with Bet 365 offering industry best odds of 5/1 for Torres to be first scorer.
Torres should get an extended run in the team with Didier Drogba at the African Cup of Nations and there could be a late goal in store on Saturday. Chelsea last four matches have involved seven goals in the last ten minutes, with B365 offering 5/6 for a goal to be scored after 76 minutes and 59 seconds.
The Blues have won the last five Chelsea v Norwich matches and we fancy they should nick this one, with the correct score of 2-1 available at 15/2. Norwich have only been behind at half time twice in their last twelve though and the double result of a half time draw and full time Chelsea win could be worth a punt at 10/3.
