West Brom v Bolton Odds: Baggies a good bet for three points at even money

Owen Coyle must have breathed a sigh of relief just before the international break when he saw his Bolton side thrash Stoke 5-0 at the Britannia Stadium. The Trotters had lost eight of their previous nine matches and the pressure was being turned up at the Reebok Stadium each week on the manager and the team.

The win over Stoke hasn’t changed a whole lot with Bolton but it has given them something to build on. They must now start picking up points and put their dreadful start to the season behind them. They travel to the Hawthorns on Saturday to take on a West Brom side who are just two points ahead of them in the league.

Roy Hodgson would have hoped his side could have continued the good form they finished out last season with but so far they have had mixed results this campaign. Two great wins over rivals Wolves and Aston Villa where followed up with defeats to Liverpool and Arsenal but the manager will look to this game and expect three points. West Brom, priced at evens with Unibet for the win, should be able to overcome Bolton at home.

The Baggies haven’t been great at home with just one win in five games but they are better than their opposition on Saturday. Bolton’s last away outing in the Premier League was 3-1 defeat to Swansea. While they did pick up a 5-0 win over Stoke in their most recent Premier League game, the result was more down to Stoke suffering a hangover from midweek Europa League action. West Brom have kept clean sheets at home against both Fulham and Wolves so they should be able to do the same against Bolton.
