Sunderland v Fulham Betting: Bendtner to continue goalscoring form

Sunderland host Fulham at the Stadium of Light in the Premier League this Saturday. Three points would be welcomed by both clubs as they both are currently just one point above the relegation zone.

Sunderland are 7/5 with Unibet to get the win while a Fulham victory is 2/1 and a draw offered at 11/5.

After the host of new signings brought to the club over the summer, Sunderland were expected to really kick on this season and make a charge for the top-half of the Premier League. So far, this doesn’t seem like it is going to happen as the Black Cats have struggled and look like potential relegation candidates than top-10 material.

Steve Bruce has taken a lot of criticism and he could be on his way out of the Stadium of Light if results don’t pick up before Christmas.

Four points from their last three game is an improvement for the side but they must start earning points consistently now and they have a great opportunity to start this Saturday.

Fulham have recorded just two wins under Martin Jol this season and they look like a team who will be down near the lower end of the table for the season. They have lost three of their last four games with only a victory against lowly Wigan where they picked up points.

That was the Cottagers first win on the road this campaign but before then they had three losses and a draw. The Stadium of Light isn’t the hardest place to go but Fulham will need a big performance if they are to take something from the game.

The draw is a tempting price at 11/5 but Sunderland have shown a glimmer of form in recent matches and they should get the win. A 2-1 win to the home side is a nice wager at 9/1 with Unibet.

In the first goalscorer market, Nicolas Bendtner at 11/2 with Unibet looks interesting. He scored two goals for Denmark on international duty last week and would love to continue that form this weekend. The former Arsenal striker has just two goals for Sunderland already and he will be looking to add to that tally.
