Stoke v QPR Odds: QPR a good bet to earn a draw at the Britannia

With three consecutive defeats in the Premier League, the Stoke City players will be eager to put those results behind them and try get back to winning ways this weekend. While the Potters are enjoying their adventure in the Europa League this season, their domestic form hasn’t been great and they currently sit just three points above the relegation zone. Stoke are priced at 3/4 with Unibet to get the win when they welcome QPR to the Britannia Stadium on Saturday. Three points would be a big boost for the club and a big effort will be expected from Tony Pulis’ side.

QPR have now lost two on the bounce in the Premier League and they are priced at 18/5 with Unibet for the win at the weekend while a draw can be had at 5/2. Since securing a 1-0 victory over nine-man Chelsea in a heated west London derby, Neil Warnock’s side have failed to pick up any points, but their games have been against two of the better sides in the league. A 3-1 defeat to Spurs at White Hart Lane was followed up with a 3-2 loss at home to league leaders Manchester City. The latter performance was far more encouraging as QPR really put it up to Roberto Mancini’s side and made them work for their win.

The Britannia Stadium is never an easy place to go but Neil Warnock will be hoping his team can take something from this game. QPR have won twice on the road already this season and they will be aiming not to leave empty-handed from their fixture this Saturday. After a strong start at home in the league with five points taken from games against Chelsea, Man United and Liverpool, Stoke suffered at 3-1 defeat to Newcastle in their last match in front of their own support.

The “Fortress” Britannia label took a bit of knock and teams might go there with expectation more than hope this season. This should be a dogged affair between two teams who like to get stuck into their opponents. Also both sides don’t play a terribly attractive brand of football and long balls forward will be the order of the day. With Stoke’s recent failings at home and their league form not the best, QPR have a good shot at snatching a draw here. They will keep it tight and will make it hard for Stoke to break them down and hope to leave the Britannia with at least a point.
