Manchester City short odds to qualify from Champions League Group A

The latest crucial round of Champions League takes place on Tuesday and Wednesday this week with a number of crunch ties taking place. The top two teams in the Premier League – Manchester City and Manchester United - are in action on Tuesday evening, and while they might be bossing matters domestically they are both in danger of missing the Champions League cut at the end of the Group stages should they not secure positive results this week.

Both Manchester United and Manchester City sit in third place in their Champions League groups. As things stand, Manchester City are the team most likely to go out according to StanJames.com. Manchester City are 5/4 chances to qualify from Group A in the Champions League, placing them third in the betting behind Bayern Munich (nailed on at 1/50) and Napoli (8/13 chances). In order to qualify Manchester City probably need to win at least three of their remaining four matches, most notably against their major qualification rivals Napoli.
