Tottenham v West Ham Odds: Spurs could come from behind and win yet again

Saturday's live lunchtime offering sees high flying Tottenham take on a rejuvenated West Ham at White Hart Lane. The two London sides were battling it out for the Olympic Stadium recently with West Ham winning that one but their odds of winning this Premier League match are much longer as they go in at 5/1 with Paddy Power. Spurs are 4/7 odds on though and the draw can be backed at 14/5.

Spurs safely negotiated their way into the last eight of the Champions League by holding AC Milan to a goalless draw last week and return their attentions to trying to clinch a top four place in the Premier League. A win on Saturday will take them level on points with fourth place Chelsea, who play Man City on Sunday, and they look good to claim the three points despite West Ham's recent resurgence.

Tottenham haven't lost to West Ham at White Hart Lane since 1999 and Jermain Defoe will look to continue his goalscoring form against his old club. Defoe ended an 11 month league goal drought by scoring two against Wolves last time out and he is 7/2 favourite with Paddy Power in the first goalscorer market, although Spurs will have to do without the services of the injured Wilson Palacios and William Gallas is a doubt.

Despite managing to keep Milan out last week Spurs have conceded six in their last two matches (against Blackpool and Wolves) and over 2.5 goals Saturday is 4/6 on, or over 3.5 could be worth a look at odds of 7/4. Furthermore, Spurs have conceded first in their last three in the League and have saved more points from losing positions than any other team in the division (21). With that in mind Spurs to come from behind and win this weekend at 15/2 could be a decent punt with PaddyPower.com, as could a West Ham first goalscorer.

Demba Ba has been a revelation since he joined the Hammers in January, scoring four in his last three, and he looks great value at 8/1 to be first scorer or even 12/5 to score anytime. West Ham are still eighteenth and battling relegation but have been boosted by a run of just one defeat in six matches, and they have finally found the net with regularity with 15 goals in five matches. Robbie Keane is fit again but is unable to play his parent club.

Despite West Ham's turn around in form they have a woeful record at White Hart Lane, losing seven of the last ten and winning none, and we fancy that run could continue this weekend. The Spurs win by 3-1 catches the eye at odds of 10/1, particularly as only one away team has scored more than one goal at White Hart Lane in the last 29 League matches.
