The Weekend football accumulator for Saturday 18th September is a fourfold of Stoke City, Blackburn Rovers, Millwall and Notts County, which pays just under 13/1 with Ladbrokes.
Stoke can get the bet off to a winning start when they welcome struggling West Ham United to the Britannia Stadium for the lunch time kick off, live on Sky Sports. The Potters completed a great comeback on Monday night with a 93rd minute winner against Aston Villa after finding themselves 1-0 down at half time. That spiritied second half display from Tony Pulis's side which included a first goal for record signing, Kenwyne Jones, showed a return to the kind of form that has seen stoke win half of their Premier League games since returning to the top flight in 2008. In contrast, things seem to be going from bad to worse for Saturday's opponents West Ham who have lost all four games so far this season and will be without their manager Avram Grant who will miss the clash to celebrate the Jewish Holy Day, Yom Kippur.
The Hammers have conceeded three goals in every match this season and the defence will surely have their work cut out once again on Saturday and the even money quote about the home win looks a good bet.
The second Premier League game in the accumulator is the match between Blackburn Rovers and Fulham at 3pm where the 11/10 about Blackburn looks too tempting against a Fulham side that has not won an away match in the league since beating Portsmouth on the opening day of last season! That's a sequence of 19 games on the road without maximum points and Ewood Park doesn't look like the place where Mark Hughes can bring that run to an end for the Cottagers. Rovers are strong at home with Arsenal, Chelsea and Man Utd all failing to win there last season and Sam Allardyce's side will be looking to bounce back after a unlucky defeat to Arsenal last time out in the league and can capitalise on Fulham's woeful away record.
Millwall have got off to a flying start in the Championship following promotion last season and are unbeaten at The Den so far this term, winning three and drawing one of their first four home matches. They can continue that good run of form against an inconsistent Watford side who has won just once in their last five games, that victory coming against Bristol City on Tuesday but the Hornets have not won back to back matches since November and Millwall can take the points here at 5/6.
The final leg of the fourfold is League One side Notts County who are at home to Leyton Orient. The Magpies have won their last two games at home and will be confident of making it a hat-trick of victories at Meadow Lane against a Leyton Orient side who has won just once in their last 17 away from home. County are the shortest priced team in the accumulator at 4/5 and can boost the return!
The accumulator odds on all these four teams winning pays just under 13/1 with Ladbrokes and a £10 stake returns £138.20.
